Take the Pre-license Course
Maggie’s Real Estate Academy has all the courses you need to start your journey! The 63-hr Sales Associate Pre-licensing course is where you begin. Check out our classes below.
Step 2
Apply to Take the State Exam
Apply through the DBPR and get your electronic fingerprints competed. You can begin this process before you begin taking classes. For more information click below.
Step 3
Take & Pass the State Exam
Once you’ve completed all the background checks and your pre-licensing course requirements, Pearson VUE will let you know you’re eligible to take the state exam.
Step 4
Activate Your License with a Broker
When you pass the state exam and are ready to begin your real estate career, you must activate your license with a broker. Check my video below on the top 7 questions to ask a broker.
Step 5
Join a local REALTOR® association/board
Once you join and pay the dues to your local association, you will officially be a REALTOR®, a member of the Florida Realtors association, and the National Association of Realtors.
